Rex Pharmacy has proudly served Atlantic and the surrounding communities since November 1941. Though many changes have come to Atlantic and Rex Pharmacy, some things have remained the same.   • September 1936, Conrad Pharmacy swept by fire
  • October 1941, Rex Moorman purchased Conrad Pharmacy at a bankruptcy sale
  • December 1941, Rex Pharmacy opens
  • 1941-1945, Ice cream fountain makes Rex Pharmacy a popular gathering place
  • 1945, Ice cream fountain replaced by amateur camera department
  • 1946, Store front is increased from 18 to 28 feet
  • 1946, Atlantic's first central air conditioning unit is installed at Rex Pharmacy
  • 1963, Ken Moorman becomes a pharmacist
  • 1964, Store is enlarged by annexing Moore's Jewelry -- Now 50' wide and 120' deep
  • 1972, Rex Moorman turns over ownership to Ken Moorman, his son.
  • 1973, Dennis Stuetelberg becomes a pharmacist
  • 1973, Radio Shack dealership is added
  • 1977, Denny Stuetelberg became a partner with Ken Moorman.
  • 1984, Quality Images Photo Lab, only in-store film processing in Atlantic
  • 1990's Cellular phone service and internet provider services added.
